You are going to explain the problem that surfaced and how the characters involved resolved their issue. *Note* you are not retelling the whole story for us, just one critical moment and how the issue was resolved in the end. You only have to write a paragraph (68 sentences). Example: Here is a conflictresolution response about the story Stray by Cynthia Rylant. This explains the primary conflict and how it was resolved. Doris is the young protagonist in Stray by Cynthia Rylant. On a cold, winter day, she finds a shivering puppy outdoors. She brings it into her home and immediately faces a person vs. person conflict. While she is sensitive, compassionate, and desires greatly for the dog to become a family member, her parents are consumed with thoughts of how they will feed the dog and the responsibilities and resources it would require. Her mom explains, “You know we can’t afford a dog, Doris. You try to act more grown up about this.” After a short while, Doris’s father heads to the pound to drop off the puppy, but in the end, his heart wins him over and the conditions at the pound inspire him, too, to bring the dog into their family and the comfort of their home. In fact, his very words were, “I wouldn’t leave an ant in that place.”In the end, Doris’s problem is solved by her father coming to the conclusion that their family would provide the best home for the stray. ________________________________________________________________________ _______________Step 1 Prewriting and Planning:_____________ Fill out the following graphic to brainstorm for your descriptive paragraph.
