In Ethiopia it is the dry season, it runs through December to February,There is also spring
(Tseday) and is known as the harvest season it goes from September to November.last but not
least Autumn also known as Belg goes through March to May. May is the hottest month in
Ethiopia.

degree census. Last is the dega zone the rainfall is 270-1280mm. Did you notice that they have
very little rainfall, and we over here in Springfield have much more rainfall than that, because
Illinois average rainfall of 2013 was 43.77 inches

3 million people, and it's Africa's fifth largest city. Some places to visit are places like the
national museum, St. George's Cathedral and Holy Trinity Cathedral, Next is Dire Dawa, It is

century and 6.03% Muslim religion live In Mekle, Last but not least Mazret with a population of
213,995 and it is sorrounded by the Misraq and oromina Ethiopia History
Ethiopia has a very interesting and confusing history. Ethiopia was one of the first
independent countries and
people have found 5,000,000 year old human leftovers. Because Ethiopia was one of the oldest
countries and people probably never buried them. In a
time era of the past Ethiopia was one of the only countries
That had not become European property. In that time there
was an important man named Sahle Menelick. He was known
as the founder of Ethiopia he was also king. But he was only
king until 1865-1889 and died in 1913. He was also king of Adwa and won many wars for
example the Great War of Adwa one of the most popular wars of Africa.and he also suffered
from paralytic strokes.
In another time of history There was a man named Etiopik. He
was the founder of the Ethiopia and Ethiopia was named after him. And he was grandson of
Noah and Axsum. The kingdom of Axsum was founded by Etiopiks sonAksumai.Aksumai was
the king of Axsum. Axsum is a very powerful kingdom. In that time period trade was important
an important phase in economics and Ethiopia was knew by many places so a lot of people
traded with them.so some things in history are violent and some are more peaceful but good to
know.
Ethiopian Economics
Ethiopia's economic score is 49.4 which makes it the 146th freest in the 2013 index. The
different types of economical freedoms are property rights, freedom form corruption, government
spending,fiscal freedom,business freedom,labor freedom,monentary freedom, trade freedom,
investment freedom and financial freedom. These are the ten topics and their economic scores,
which show how good quality and how free the economics in that topic is.( plus means good
score minus means bad score.)
So now you see how good each topic is Ethiopia has weaknesses and advantages in
economics. In all the other sub-Saharan countries Ethiopia is ranked number 32 out 46 so
Ethiopia is near the back which is kind of bad.But the good news Ethiopia is 10.2 points less
than the world average which is 59.6 and Ethiopia is 49.4.These are some jobs available in
Ethiopia.Financial analyst,sales manager,administrator,project engineer,economic strengthening
officer, accountant and branch manager.exports:coffee, hides and skins, khat, livestock, and
oilseeds, and qat(drug of abuse) and imports:chemicals, crude petroleum, and machinery,
autos, cereals, textiles, and Ethiopian Government
The government of Ethiopia helps run Ethiopia that is why it is important. The president
Mulatu Teshume has been president since October 7 2013. And the prime minister is
Hailemarium Desalegn. A prime minister is like the leader of an elected government. And the
party is the Ethiopian people's revolutionary democratic front it is not a real party with
streamers, dancing and presents. It is a political party.A different thing from Ethiopia to the United
States is that the longest a president can stay president in Ethiopia for 6 years and in the United
States it is 4 years.Something that is interesting is that there is different ministers for each
topic.Which means that there is different ministers for a topic and they are in charge of making
sure nothing goes wrong in that certain topic and if something does go wrong they inform the
president about it .The different topics are foreign affairs, agriculture, rural development, water
resources and health and environment. If you were wondering what foreign affairs are it means if
foreign people are visiting or moving there. And agriculture means farming or farms.
The system of a new law works like this in Ethiopia works like this...It all starts in the
council of representatives where 571 people get elected and stay for five years which is 1 year
shorter than how long the president stays in business. If we go over to the judicial branch the
president and Vice President are chosen by the prime minister which become the leaders of the
court, you know the guy in the fancy chair with the gigantic hammer!!!!Okay so first the council of
representatives thinks of an idea to add to the government or law the representatives vote to
see if it is good enough to send to the president. If it has a lot of votes it gets sent if it has a not
so good amount it stays. When the president gets it he stamps it if it is approved or not
approved. If it is approved he gives it to court and the court judges if it is fair and good for the
country.
That is the amazing government of Ethiopia.
Ethiopian Culture
Ethiopia culture is a big section. it is what makes you you! It shows who you are and shows
your beliefs
In Ethiopia there is a bunch of religions and different perspectives come with each
religion. These are the religions that are mostly found there.Christian 60.8%,Muslim
32.8%,traditional 4.6%,Orthodox 50.6%,Protestant 10.2% and other 1.8%.If you were
wondering what Muslim is it is the religion of Islam. In Islam people worship one god named
Allah and pray to him five times a day even though there is more prayers like eid prayers and
juma'a prayers. The prayers that you must pray are duhur, magrib, asr, and isha.In Islam they
memorize Suhras which are part of the Quran and also known as the book of Allah. In Ethiopia
the widely most spoken foreign language is English mostly because English in my opinion is
spoken in a lot of countries but other languages are Afro-Asiatic, Semitic,Cushitic,Omotic and
Nilo- Saharan.
In Ethiopia for some reason coffee is so popular there. In Ethiopia they have traditions
for coffee drinking so in Ethiopia if you are invited to drink coffee you have to sit on a pillow or
grass and you have to sip the coffee slowly. The national dish of Ethiopia is wat it is a hot spicy
stew eaten with injera it is a dish that is kind of like a big, spongy, pancake. Also in Ethiopia there
is a feast known as the Feast of Tinkat,The foods there have a very spicy flavor. A traditional
plate has meat stews made of chicken, beef, and lamb.
In Ethiopia a traditional costume is usually made of woven cotton. Ethiopian men wear a
costume called gabbi, and women wear outfits called netella with borders that have bright colors.
But lots of people wear things that reflect their religions. Some people don't wear clothes and
decorate their body with paint. In Ethiopia a hair style that appears a lot is a braid or bun, though
some people cut off all their hair and some people cover their hair with scarfs. Accessories
commonly being worn are made of gold or silver. Glass beads are also common, anklets and
bracelets are also worn.
