and it uses.
Explain what causes growth in the economy
and how it is shown on the PPC.
Activities

Have students create a poster with a PPC that
shows constant opportunity cost and a PPC that
shows increasing opportunity cost. Each PPC
should have three points labeled A, B, and C.
Point A should be on the curve, point B should
be inside the curve, and point C should be
outside the curve. Students should create a
legend that explains what each point is.

Bell Ringer
Write the prompt on the board “What does an
economy do to create more of any product if all
resources are fixed.” Students should write
down their answers as they walk in. Use the
first couple minutes of class to allow students
to explain their answers.
