BATTERY UNIT
The operating voltage for the
Doge Boxer is 24 V DC. The
battery unit consists of 2 batteries with a capacity of 1.2
Amp/H 24 Volt. The batteries
are gas and liquid-proof.
BRAKING
As well as variable height
adjustment (13 or 20 cm),
the dealer can also adapt the
Boxer to your height (specified
standard height).

Dear client,
Congratulations on purchasing your new Doge Boxer home and office chair. As you will soon
discover, this chair provides a wide range of possibilities ensuring excellent mobility, health and
comfort while seated. Once you have sat in your Doge Boxer, you must first carefully read these
brief users’ instructions, warnings and tips. Take particular note of the safety instructions.
Store this manual in a safe place for future consultation.

CHARGING THE BATTERY
If used intensively, the electrically-adjustable Doge Boxer
must be recharged once every 48 hours, using the charger
supplied. Only use the charger supplied.
First insert the charger plug in the wall socket before connecting to the
chair. The charging plug for the charger is located in the manual control
beneath the armrest. If the charger is charging, the LED lamp will light
up. Once the battery is sufficiently charged, the LED will switch off. The
battery will be charged after a maximum of 8 hours.
A red lamp will light up when the charger is empty. As soon as the charger
is fully charged, a green lamp will light up.

The easiest way to move with the Boxer is to ‘skip’ backwards. When you activate the height adjustment feature on
the Doge Boxer, make sure the brake has been engaged.
When standing up from the Doge Boxer, make sure that
the brake has been engaged and that the front wheels are
facing forwards or to the side.
OPERATING FUNCTIONS
ELECTRICAL HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The Doge Boxer is fitted with an operating button on the
underside of the armrest. If you push the button in the
direction of the up arrow, the seat will rise. If you push the
button in the direction of the down arrow, the seat will
lower. In consultation with your dealer, this button can be
placed beneath the left-hand or right-hand armrest.
BRAKE OPERATION
A handle is fitted to the chair to operate the brake. If you
push the handle forwards, the chair can be freely moved. If
you move the handle backwards, the two rear wheels are fully
locked. In consultation with your dealer, this handle can be
installed on the left or right-hand side.
BACKREST ADJUSTMENT
Both the height and angle of the backrest can be adjusted.
ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the angle, push the handle at the base of the
backrest downwards. Place the backrest in the required
position, and return the handle to its original position. The
backrest will now be locked in the new position.
BACKREST HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the height, you must slacken the round knob. You
can then adjust the backrest to the required height. Then
retighten the round knob.
WARNINGS AND SAFETY TIPS:
Although the chair complies with strict safety requirements, you must still observe the following
warnings and safety tips:
• The Doge Boxer is intended for indoor use, in
a dry environment.
• To prevent the risk of fire as a result of short
circuit and/or electric shock, do not expose
the chair to moisture. See also ‘maintenance
and cleaning’ for cleaning instructions for the
chair.
• When using the electrical control of the
Doge Boxer, always ensure that no children,
pets or goods are near the movable parts of
the chair. Never allow children to play with the electrical control of the Doge Boxer!
• If you intend to move backwards, make sure
that your intended route is free from any
obstacles.
• Note: the home and office chair always
requires a certain braking distance.
Remember this fact.
• Do not use the Doge Boxer while recharging
the battery. By preference charge the battery
during periods when the Doge Boxer is not in
use (for example at night); only use the
charger supplied.
• Do not apply any fluid/lubricant to the
wheels yourself. If your chair suffers from
squeaky/creaky wheels, consult your supplier.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
Frame: Regularly wipe down with a slightly
damp cloth.
Stof: Regularly clean with a vacuum
cleaner and wipe with a damp cloth.
If necessary, first dab stains with
absorbent (kitchen) paper, then
clean with lukewarm water. Dab, do
not rub!
• If you accidentally spill liquid onto the chair,
always check that the electrical components
are dry. If not, carefully wipe off the electrical
components with an absorbent cloth and
wait until the components are dry before
using the chair again.
• Do not place the chair too close to an open
fire or heater; avoid open flame and be
careful if you are a smoker (fire hazard).
• If you will not be using the chair for a longer
period of time, switch the charger on to
ensure that the battery remains fully charged.
• Careful maintenance will help ensure
continued trouble-free use of the chair (see
maintenance and cleaning).
• Should you experience problems: check that
the battery is fully charged. If the Doge Boxer
still refuses to work, consult your supplier.
• Never open the housing of the electrical
components.
• For special maintenance and special
adjustments not covered by this users’
manual, please consult your supplier of the
Doge Boxer.
• Never carry out any adjustments to the
mechanical or electrical components, always
consult your supplier of the Doge Boxer!
Artificial leather:
Regularly wipe with a damp cloth. Here, too,
remove stains with a damp cloth.
