A final winner, chosen from the three will be used in promotions The slogan must be words only. Artwork, while appreciated, will not be judged Deadline for submissions is 12:00 midnight, May 31, 2016 Judging: Entries in the contest will be judged on three main criteria. First is the degree to which the slogan reflects the values declared by the Canada 150 committee “We value our heritage, our nation, our natural environment and the diversity of our people.” The slogan should reflect a local flavor of a national holiday. It is Canada’s Birthday but we are celebrating it right here, in Central Frontenac. The slogan should reflect Central Frontenac’s role in making Canada great – in the past by opening up the Canadian Shield and serving the country here and abroad, in the present by maintaining a little bit of paradise in a frenzied world and in the future by setting an example in protection of our culture and our environment Name e-mail Address School and grade (if student) Phone Slogan Send your entry by Canada Post or e-mail to: Rosemarie Bowick, 1011 Wing Cr., P.O.Box #77, Sharbot Lake, ON, K0H 2P0 e-mail: [email protected] The Canada 150 Committee of Central Frontenac
