Procedure for obtaining Certificate of Conformity – for Modification Works (COC-MW)
Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to describe and outline the method, how the contractor working Under
TRAKHEES jurisdiction will apply & obtain COC for Modification Works.
2.0
Scope
This procedure will apply to the contractors involved in the modification Works Under TRAKHEES
jurisdiction.
3.0
Procedure to be followed
3.1
All modification works carried out in areas under the jurisdiction of Trakhees, Environment, Health and Safety
must take into consideration with the requirements of EHS regulations and standards. In order to ensure that
Certificates of Conformity – Modification Works must be obtained before starting any modification activities
at site. The flow charts provide a step by step guide to the contractors for familiarizing with the process.
3.2
Certificate of Conformity - COC
Application for COC must be made by the Contractor of the modification works. Application must be made
after the site has been established but before starting any construction activities.
3.3
Safety Advisor/Inspector
Safety supervision is must for all types of modification works as per the attached selection matrix for safety
advisor or Safety inspector.
3.4
Inspection Fees
Inspection fees of AED 1000 should be paid and copy of the payment receipt should be submitted with the
application form.

complete COC for Modification works form
Obtain Modification Permit from
Trakhees CED
Submit COC-MW form in PDF (signed &
stamped by Contractor & Consultant)

Reapply
for COC
Receive payment advice by email & take the
letter copy to Cashier at EHS Main Office or
dragon mart Trakhees office to pay inspection
fees (AED 1000)
Send the scanned copy of payment
receipt along with the letter copy to
[email protected]
EHS will check safety compliance at site as per the
COC-MW form
(within 3 working days) after issuing the tracking
number
