$2.00 per entry per class. NO REFUNDS A LLOWED S tuds w ith emailed entries w ill still be responsible t o pay outstanding entry fees if not attending show. A $10 nomination fee t o accompany entries per show for competitors t hat do not hold MGBA membership. Exhibitors are required t o pay t he normal S how S ociety gate entry fee for admission t o t he showground.
ELIGIBILITY
MGBA Breed shows are open t o members and non-­‐members. This show is open t o all registered A ustralian Miniature, Nuwby, Pygmy and Nigerian Dwarf Goats holding current and up t o date registration w ith any group A ustralia w ide. Australian Pygmy/Nigerian Dwarf Goats must be registered w ith DNA, or have DNA pending. A nimals must be owned or leased by competitor. Animals must only be shown in t he breed registered on registration certificate. MGBA rules and regulations apply to goats at A LL shows including DNA, ear tagging requirements w here applicable. (A) A nimals registered w ith t he MGBA t o produce a copy of registration certificate on t he day with show entry form or presented before show t o be eligible t o participate in Breed Classes. (B) A nimals not registered w ith the MGBA must have registration certificates emailed/posted in w ith entries t o be eligible t o participate in Breed Classes. Competitor participation in events is at t he MGBA discretion and non-­‐members w ill be required t o agree t o t he MGBA code of sportsmanship w hen submitting entries. Those not abiding by MGBA rules w ill be removed from show and any w ins forfeited. A ll MGBA rules and regulations apply to shows. It is t he competitor’s responsibility t o follow all DPI and governing bodies’ state rules and requirements for t ick/disease as w ell as movement of goats between states and t o and from MGBA shows.

F ull S how Rules are a supplement t o t his schedule and can be found on the Miniature Goat Breeders A ssociation Website http://www.miniaturegoatbreedersassociation.com.au MGBAA Inc Breed S tandards, Heights and Regulations w ill govern breed related issues IN A LL CASES. All Animals must be measured in prior t o t he commencement of judging and are t o be brought up t o t he measuring station as directed by t he steward. Animals not measured w ill not be permitted t o show. Animals must have NLIS ear t ag in place and Identification must be confirmed prior t o commencement of judging. (Any goats entering under
dairy exemption must still have t heir ear t ags present at the show).Animals should be good breed examples and must NOT have horns. All animals must be in healthy condition, free of t icks, lice and v isible signs of disease or health problems. It is desirable t hat goats have been v accinated. Exhibitors and handlers are t o conduct t hemselves in an exemplary manor at all t imes. A busive, disruptive or unsportsmanlike behaviour w ill result in t he exhibitor/handler being excused from t he ring, forfeiture of fees/prizes/awards & disqualification from competing in further classes. Please also see MGBA code of sportsmanship that forms part of y our membership. It is t he exhibitors responsibility to provide adequate food and fresh w ater for t heir animals for t he duration of t he show. It is condition of entry t hat the Best of Breed and Best In S how exhibits stand t o be photographed, at t he show under t he direction of t he steward, for recording & promotion of show results. F ailure t o do so w ill result in disqualification of exhibit, award/s being permanently removed & forfeiture of entry fees. Photos & results of classes / animals w ill be published as t he S how S ociety / MGBAA requireAny photos t aken at the show may be used by t he MGBAA in future promotions.
CONDITION OF PARTICIPATION: S eparation t o prevent movement of faeces or contaminated food, w ater or bedding. A dequate supervision of animals at t he v enue. Restrict animals t o designated area by t ethering or penning w hen not being led. Prompt removal of faecal material-­‐ regularly removed t o no access plastic lined bins. This is particularly important in laneways and judging areas. Equipment must be cleaned regularly and stored at or in a bin. (Responsibility of each stud t o clean up after t hemselves). S ick goats not permitted on grounds. In interpreting t he show/event regulations, any decision made by t he show committee/manager is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Animals are only eligible t o enter one breed t ype section correct classes. Please ensure the breed is indicated on t he entry form.
All exhibitors/participants are responsible for arranging their own public liability insurance and other insurances. This Association or
any of its representatives will not under any circumstances hold itself/themselves liable for any accident, loss or damage and it shall be
a condition of entry/participation that each exhibitor/participant shall hold MGBAA and anyone associated with the
organisation/condu ct of event, blameless and indemnify it against any legal proceedings arising through any accident, loss, non-­‐
delivery or damage whatsoever.
