The Hemel Hempstead School Student of the Year
When selecting a student of the year we are looking for someone who has
made an outstanding contribution across a number of areas of school life.
Given the quality of our student body we are not short of candidates. This
year’s Student of the Year has excelled in many areas: top grades at GCSE,
major roles in school productions, a high-performing athlete and an
accomplished, confident speaker. Teachers comment on this student’s
enthusiasm, attention to detail, willingness to work with others and
maintenance of high standards at all times. Those observing extra-curricular
contributions would say that this student demonstrates dedication,
commitment, self-discipline and a desire to reach the very highest standards
in everything undertaken. Congratulations to this year’s very worthy recipient
of the Student of the Year Award - Emily Jelfs.
Students from Academic Year 2014 -15 are invited to the stage to be
congratulated on their results
Examination Certificates will be available for collection in the Dining Room following the
presentation
