Cap blocks – 8” deep x 4” thick, 1ft- 1½ ft high – Hint: half the thickness of a cinder block (reusable and returnable) Home Depot or Wal-Mart Wood spacers – 3/4” x 3/4” x 4” long (Hint: 1” x 4” x 10 ft. works well for this. Ten foot strips can be easily cut into 3/4” pieces.) Please have these cut before arrival. Home Depot/ Lowe’sNew wooden baseball bats – 34” length (Louisville Slugger recommended) Call Leitchfield Bat Co. @ 1-800-635-3098 or 270-259-5510 ask for Jerry or Mark. The cost is $10 per bat. Please order two weeks prior to crusade. “Add 1 bat for every school” Hot Water Bottles – Call the office to place your order. $9 per bottle (including shipping) orders must be placed 10 business days before your crusade. 3 pairs of goggles to protect eyes from water bottle. –Wal-Mart Large telephone books (2’ or 3’ thick only) Call a big city phone company. “Add one extra for every school” Aluminum Frying pans – Chef Mate or Regal Brand, 12” diameter at Target or Wal-Mart $12 each. Ask local fire department if you can borrow they are not damaged in any way or purchase at Home Depot. Keep receipt and return. We do not damage axes.
