The Combined Preschools of Southern Grampians
is the Early Years Manager for 6 kindergartens in
Hamilton area. Its Board of Management is
made up of parents and community members.
The board employs an Executive Officer and a
Finance Officer.
Vision
To deliver the highest quality early childhood
education and care to children and their families
that reflects their individual communities.
CPSGs role is to ensure the delivery of accessible,
affordable, inclusive early childhood education.
We encourage each kindergarten to develop and
maintain an individual identity and educational
program that reflects their community by:
1. Being an organization with strong governance
foundations to provide seamless administration
processes.
Four years olds are funded through the Department
of Education and Training. Some three year olds are
funded through Early Start *conditions apply
We also are in receipt of National Occasional Care
Funding.
Fees are collected from families to supplement the
funding. Some families will be exempt from these
fees. *conditions apply
Church Hill Kindergarten

Church Hill Kindergarten in situated in a quiet leafy
tree lined street. This kindergarten has a very
homelike atmosphere.
The two gracious Churches with their tall spires are
close by as well as the Botanical Gardens.

Mitchell Park Kindergarten

Mitchell Park Kindergarten, to the south east of the
city, is surrounded by a park. The kindergarten has a
welcoming rural feel and also offers a Healthy Eating
Program.

All of our kindergartens are staffed by qualified
experienced and dedicated teachers.
Our Kindergartens
Two Kindergartens are located in the city of
Hamilton and four in the rural townships
surrounding the city. The sites offer sessions for
both Kinder and Pre Kinder.
Branxholme Kindergarten
McNicol Street, Branxholme 3302
Branxholme is twenty minutes drive south of
Hamilton on the Henty (Portland) Highway. The
kindergarten is based in the local hall complex.
Extensive renovations to the hall and outdoor area
provide the staff and children with bright engaging
facilities.

Cavendish Kindergarten

Cavendish Kindergarten, in the township of
Cavendish, is surrounded by lush farmland, where
sheep, cattle and horses graze in the adjoining
paddocks. The outdoor area has recently
undergone extensive renovation.

Dunkeld Kindergarten has been recently
refurbished inside and out. It is situated near the
town centre with the magnificent backdrop of the
Grampians. The children have views of Mt.
Abrupt and enjoy Bush Kinder sessions.
