GAMING CONSOLE RESNET SETUP
OVERVIEW
In order to use your gaming console with ResNet, you must first register your console’s MAC address with us. You
can obtain your console’s MAC address by following the instructions below.

XBOX

Turn on the Xbox console with no disc loaded in the tray.
From the Xbox Dashboard, choose Xbox Live.
*Note: It is assumed that you cannot connect to Xbox Live yet. Therefore you should receive the following message:
“Could not connect to Xbox Live. Do you want to troubleshoot your network connection?”

From the Connect Status screen, select Settings.
The 12-digit number at the bottom-right corner of the Network Settings screen is the MAC address for
your system. Do not make any changes to the MAC address.
XBOX 360

Go to the System area of the Xbox Dashboard and select Network Settings.
Select Edit Settings
Under Basic Settings, make sure the IP Settings is set to Automatic.
From Additional Settings, select Advanced Settings.
At the bottom of the Advanced Settings screen, there is an area called "Wired MAC Address." This is the
MAC address for your system.
PLAYSTATION 2
*Note: You should have a Network Adapter Setup Disc that was included with your network adapter or console. This disc will be
required for online play.

After properly installing the network adapter, turn on the PS2 and load the Network Adapter Startup Disc
into the system.
Once it is fully loaded, select ISP Setup and press X.
The ISP Setup will load and you will be presented with a license agreement. Select Agree and press X.
For connection type, choose Local Area Network (LAN) and press X to continue.
Select Automatic Configuration and press X to continue.
At the connection test screen, select Advanced and press X to continue.
At the Advanced Broadband Settings screen, make sure Automatic is selected. While you are at this
screen, your MAC address is located at the mid-bottom of the screen.
SLIMLINE PLAYSTATION 2

With no disc inserted into the console, turn on the Slimline PS2.

After the Browser/System Configuration options appear on the screen, press the triangle.
On the bottom of the Version screen, you'll see the MAC address for your console.
PLAYSTATION 3

From the PS3 main menu screen, select Settings.
Select System Settings.
Select System Information. This screen will display your system's MAC address.
NINTENDO WII (USING LAN ADAPTER)

From the Wii Channel menu. (First menu after the system turns on) select Wii Settings.
Select Internet, then Console Settings.
The MAC address for the console is displayed on the first line.
NINTENDO GAMECUBE
1.
The MAC address is printed on the underside of the GameCube's broadband adapter.
