TCHS recognized and said THANK YOU to our GUIDANCE
COUNSELORS. This past week was National School Counseling Week 2015.
"Celebrate School Counseling," was recognized from Feb. 2-6 to focus public
attention on the unique contribution of professional school counselors within
U.S. school systems. National School Counseling Week, sponsored by the
American School Counselor Association, highlights the tremendous impact
school counselors can have in helping students achieve school success and
plan for a career. National School Counseling Week is always celebrated the
first full week in February. TCHS is grateful to our entire Guidance Staff for
all their efforts to help our students every day.

Souper Bowl Canned Soup Drive.....
The TCHS Souper Bowl Drive has been extended until February 10th. This is a
drive to collect Canned Soup, Soup Mixes, Boxes of Soup, Canned Stews and
Canned Chili. These items will be donated to the Food Bank of Lower
Fairfield County . All donations may be brought to the Main Office.
Boxes of Tissues Needed.....
With cold and flu season upon us, we are asking
for donations of Boxes of Tissues. Please send
your donations to the Front Office.
Inclement Weather.....
We follow the decision of the Stamford Public Schools for delays, dismissals
and cancellation when the weather is bad. We notify you as soon as we find
out about any changes in schedules. We ask that you discuss the bad weather
contingency plans with your child in advance. The safety of our students is
always a priority!
Reminders.....
Parents and Guardians MUST call the school before 8:30am (203.322.3401) to
report a student's absence. The school secretary must call everyone the school
does not hear from when a student is not in school and this makes it difficult
for them to complete their other duties. Please be considerate and make this
necessary call. Thank you for your help with this.
Friday February 13 is an early dismissal for all students due to an afternoon
session of Professional Development for teachers.
February Vacation will start at 12:00 noon on Friday February 13th for students
and continue through Friday February 20th. Classes will resume at 7:45am on
Monday February 23rd.
