Camp Itinerary
The Duke Winter Indoor Camp will
work on stroke development, matchplay strategy, and shot selection for
every level of play. Your child will be
taught by top professionals in the area
who, combined, have over 50 years of
experience in tennis coaching. Our
camp allows your child to practice during winter break where they will be
under the guidance of great instructors
and also gain valuable tennis knowledge and experience

Camp Details
Professional Staff
Brad Pomeroy
Brad is a former UNC tennis standout who was ranked #1 in the nation in doubles in 2006. He went on
to a career on the pro circuit winning titles in California, Mexico, and
Ireland. Brad brings with him a
plethora of knowledge, and over 8
years experience teaching tennis to
juniors. Brad will be helping out with
the older-aged players.
Brent Bennett
Brent joined the Hollow Rock staff in
2007 as the head pro. He is a
graduate of UNC where he played
both club basketball and tennis.
Brent has been teaching professionally for 6 years and teaches all ages
and levels of play. He is involved
heavily in the junior clinics at Hollow
Rock and enjoys watching the
improvements of juniors in our
programs. He will be focused on the
younger-aged children in camp.
Jim McDonald
Jim is the director of tennis at Hollow Rock, where he has been for the
past 10 years. He is a former member of the Australian National
Coaching Staff and was the director
of coaching for Western Australia.
Jim coached in Miami for 15 years
and has worked with many touring
pros, college players, and top junior
players. He will be overseeing all of
the camp program and all ages of
juniors
Barrett Donner
Barrett has helped with our junior
programs at Hollow Rock for 6 years
and is very experienced with junior
tennis instruction. She was a four
year varsity player at James Madison University, having just recently
graduated in 2009. She has come
back to the Triangle area to help out
with our juniors and will be responsible for the instruction for our
younger-aged children at our Winter
Program
