PROGRAM AND SERVICES
DAY 1
ARRIVAL IN ZURICH — ASCONA
DAY 3
CRANS-MONTANA — INTERLAKEN
Arrival at Zurich Airport (ZHR) by
your own arrangements. Flight to
Ascona by helicopter. The flight over
the Swiss Alps with views of the
Matterhorn and the Dufourspitze
(Monte Rosa) is certain to get you into
the holiday mood. Your overnight
stay is at the Hotel Giardino *****.
The Crans-sur-Sierre Golf-Club (par 72;
6341 m) was redesigned by Seve
Ballesteros. Situated at 1500 metres
above sea level, the course has proved
a tough nut to crack even for the
elite of the Omega European Masters,
a top-flight event on the European
Tour. The breathtaking panoramic
views might have something to do
with the occasional drop in concentration during your round.
DAY 2
ASCONA — CRANS-MONTANA
Enjoy a round of golf at the Patriziale
Ascona Golf Club (par 71; 5948 m),
featuring the perfect blend of tradition
and innovation. 18 fairways on a golf
course of the highest standard, lined
with ancient tree stands. As an option
you can also play the 18-hole champion­
ship course designed by Peter Harradine at the Gerre Losone Golf Course.
Planned and built as a championship
course with lightning-fast greens
and manicured fairways, the course is
meticulously managed and represents
a sporting challenge for any golfer
(par 71; 6255 m).
After a late lunch at a typical Ticino
‘dining grotto’ it’s time to fly on
to Crans-sur-Sierre by helicopter and
overnight at the LeCrans Hotel & Spa *****.
Those still fit enough may want to tag
on an extra round at the Jack Niklaus
9-hole course (par 35; 2779 m) or
perhaps call in at a wine grower’s to
sample various Valais vintages.
The journey continues by limousine
in the late afternoon, through the
Lötschberg railway tunnel (14.6 km) to
the Bernese Oberland and Interlaken.
You will spend the night at the Hotel
Viktoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa *****, a leading hotel in the luxury
hotel segment for more than 145 years.
DAY 4: INTERLAKEN
INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
The largely flat course at the Inter­
laken-Unterseen Golf Club (par 72;
6200 m) set between Lake Brienz and
Lake Thun is a challenge nonetheless
because of its tricky greens.

board the Blümlisalp
Afternoon excursion (optional): Take
the train to the Jungfraujoch – Top of
Europe, Europe’s highest railway
station at 3466 metres above sea level.
In the evening, board the Blümlisalp
paddle steamer for a dinner cruise on
Lake Thun and a spot of fine dining.
You will again stay overnight at the
Hotel Viktoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa *****.
DAY 5
TAG INTERLAKEN — ZÜRICH
Journey by limousine across the
Brünig Pass (1008 metres above sea
level) through central Switzerland to
Zurich. If time allows, you will have
the opportunity to see Switzerland’s
most visited town, Lucerne.
Departure from Zurich Airport
(ZHR; own arrangements).
