Santa’s Hidden Treasures An Enchanted Edwardian Christmas at Lauriston Castle Santa’s Hidden Treasures Lauriston Castle is delighted to offer a magical experience for Nurseries and Primary 1. All visits are FREE of charge, led by Lauriston Castle staff, and are run in approximately two hour sessions between 9.30 - 11.30am or 12.30 - 2.30pm, although these times can be adapted. We can take a maximum of one class (approx. 32 children) per visit. WORKSHOP INTRODUCTION Bring your class to magical Lauriston Castle for a wonderful Edwardian-themed workshop. Discover original Edwardian toys from the Museum of Childhood’s collection under the decorated Christmas tree and enjoy Christmas stories in the old Library. Complete the visit with a historical Victorian Magic Lantern show and a visit from a very special guest! On Christmas Eve one hundred years ago, Father Christmas lost some very special presents. He thinks they may have fallen out of his sack at Lauriston Castle. Could your class help to find them?
