Inspired by our love of all things food and cooking, and passionate about
helping businesses grow and succeed, Plateful Solutions offers personalized
consulting to culinary and food brands.

digital space.
At Plateful Solutions, we work with many different culinary and food brands,
from startup and entrepreneurial ventures, to artisan producers, and even to
well-established companies. We can either work with you on a project basis,

About Danielle
Danielle Wecksler is a creative and energetic business leader with over
twenty years of experience in managing high profile projects in the
culinary, retail, and IT industries. She has particular expertise in
launching new ventures and projects with challenging requirements,
timelines, and budgets.
At Plateful Solutions, she blends the unique traits of being a foodie, a
project manager, and a geek, and specializes in the digital marketing and
business solutions side of the business. Given that she has both a food
and tech background, Danielle is able to create unique and original
content for brands that can be applied across all digital channels. She is
an expert in digital strategies, and can translate complex technical
concepts into business results.
Prior to that, she was General Manager at Charleston Cooks! for almost ten years, a
retail kitchen store and cooking school with three locations around South Carolina.
With responsibility for all aspects of the stores, she was instrumental in growing the
brand from inception to a profitable and widely recognized leader in the industry. She
has been featured in numerous national publications, such as Traditional Home, Taste
of the South, and Southern Living, and is also the author of two cookbooks on
Lowcountry cuisine. With her keen eye for design and merchandising, Danielle
handles all of the shopping for their rapidly expanding food styling prop collection, as
well as any of the DIY craft projects needed for shoots!
Her technical expertise comes from spending more than eight years at Apple
Computer during the turnaround of the company under Steve Jobs. Danielle joined
Apple as a software automation engineer, but quickly moved up the ranks into Project
and Program Management. By leading cross-functional teams from all over the
company, she brought to market over twenty high visibility projects under aggressive
schedules.
Danielle has a MS in Project Management from George Washington University, a BS in
Aviation Operations from San Jose State University, and professional culinary training
at the prestigious Apicius Culinary Institute in Florence, Italy. She lives in the
Charleston, SC area with her husband and two beagles.
About Jessica
Jessica is an innovative culinarian with over ten years experience in
catering, entertaining, and as a personal chef. She has vast knowledge in
a variety of foods and cuisines, and has particular expertise in recipe
development and testing, plating and presentation, and social media
management.
At Plateful Solutions, she brings her sophisticated palate and analytical,
oftentimes witty, style to the culinary aspect of the business. She has
literally written over a thousand recipes, and has the ability to quickly
hone in on exactly what people want to eat and when. Given her
experience running her own business, Jessica is an expert in social media
management and strategy, and can find the perfect channels to deliver
your culinary brand message.
Going back to the beginning, Jessica fell in love with food as a farmer's daughter in
Blenheim, SC. She went off to college in the big city of Charleston thinking that she
wanted to go into the medical industry. But she quickly realized that she was
constantly being drawn back to food. Jessica started out working for a caterer to
learn all she could about the food world, then found her true calling when she started
leading cooking classes at Charleston Cooks! Her easygoing nature and infectious
laugh make others feel naturally at home in the kitchen, or around the table.
A few years later, she moved to the even bigger city of Washington, DC, and started
JLOkitchens as her own personal chef business. She hosted dinner parties, taught
cooking classes all over the city, and even cooked for a NBA player. This provided the
opportunity for Jessica to delve deeply into many different cuisines, and challenged
her to create recipes and meals to fit any dietary request or constraint. Her creations
are not only deliciously tasty, but she also has a natural affinity for composing
beautiful plates and even more gorgeous photos of them. As the resident chef, she is
absolutely in charge of all pie and biscuit making!
Jessica has a BS in Biology from College of Charleston, and stayed on to complete
post-graduate work in heart research. She lives in the Charleston, SC area with her
husband.
