We are pleased to have Sayre Woods’ supported missionaries, Gary &
MaryBeth Kirschman with us this morning! Gary serves under the organization
Christian Business Men Connection where he disciples young men in the
business world! They’re here today to update us on what God is doing in their
lives through their ministry. Please greet them in the Lord!
BABY BOTTLE BOOMERANG - At the end of the worship service today, in
honor of motherhood, as you exit the Worship Center, we will be distributing
baby bottles from Solutions Pregnancy & Health Center. Please take one home
with you. The baby bottle campaign is used to support Solutions’ services that
help men and women facing unplanned pregnancies find alternatives to
abortion. We are asking that you take a bottle home, fill it with coins, dollars,
or a check, and return the bottle back here to the church on Father’s Day,
Sunday, June 21st. Please return even empty bottles. Thank you.
FIREPROOF Lunch & Movie: On Sunday, May 17, join us for lunch and a movie
after our second service! We will be meeting in the gym for lunch at 1:00 PM
and then watching the inspirational marriage film FIREPROOF in the Worship
Center. Please sign up in the back of the Worship Center today! Child care
provided.
SWBC MINISTRY FAIR: Sunday, May 24 is Service Sunday! Stick around after
either service for our SWBC Ministry Fair! Ministry leaders will have
presentations set up in the Gym and in the back of the Worship Center. This
will be a great opportunity to learn about the variety of ministries happening
at Sayre Woods and to find the one that is the perfect fit for you to get
involved in!
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND BBQ: On Sunday, May 24, join us after second
service for a Church BBQ! All are invited! The Lost & Found Motorcycle
Ministry Men will be taking care of grilling the burgers and hot dogs – would
you please bring a side, salad, or dessert? Please sign up in the back of the
Worship Center today!

BUILDING UP SINGLE MOMS LUNCHEON – On Sunday, May 31, all single moms are
invited to a special lunch to show our appreciation and to encourage you in your role
as a single mother! Lunch begins at 1PM in the gym, and will be prepared and served
by our pastors and elders. Child care will provided. Sign up in the back.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY Monday night Bible study will meet at the Bridgeway Diner in
Old Bridge on Rt. 9 South at 7:00PM on Monday, May 18. All ladies are invited to enjoy
dinner and/or dessert among friends. Attendance during the study is not required.

A BABY SHOWER! All ladies are invited to a baby shower at Sayre Woods on Saturday,
May 23, at 12:30PM to bless Katie Haines Murphy, who is expecting a girl in July. Katie
is registered at Target. Lunch will be provided. If you are attending, you must RSVP by
calling or texting Dorothy Haines by May 15th.
GUATEMALA POLISH - Nails With a Benefit - Please join us for a night of
pampering! Delight yourself to a manicure, a professional mini-massage, and some
tasty treats. This event will be held on Saturday, May 23, from 6PM - 9PM at Sayre
Woods Bible Church in the Café. All we are asking for is a small donation. All proceeds
will assist in funding the Guatemala missions trip this July. All ladies are welcome to
attend. Please feel free to bring friends!
STRAWBERRY PICKING – Friday, May 22nd and Saturday, May 23, (Rain date May
29th and 30th). Although this is Memorial Day weekend, if we went any later we
would miss the strawberry season. Any sooner and the strawberries won't be ready.
Pool party, camp-out in the backyard, movies under the stars, strawberries fresh from
the farm, AND LOTS OF ICE CREAM! The weather is always a tough call for this event.

LADIES SAVE THE DATE for Erica Smith (soon to be Palma)’s bridal shower: Sunday,
June 14, at 1:00PM in the gym.
FOOD PANTRY NEEDS: Pasta sauce, rice, boxed potatoes, pork and beans, tuna,
canned fruit, cake mixes, gluten free cereal, Chef Boyardee, canned chili, chicken
broth. Please check that your donations are more than 6 MONTHS AWAY from
expiring before donating them.
