Time of Project: May 2009 – February 2010

Performed Civil Inspections for the construction of a new metering station for the eBay
Topaz Data Center, as well as the transmission line from the Oquirrh Substation in West
Jordan, Utah

Work included inspection and compaction testing of the site, the new metering station
and full-time inspection during drilling and placement of concrete on the transmission
line

Metering Station consisted of various Drilled Shaft and Slab-on-Grade Foundations

Transmission line consisted of 9 Drilled Shaft Foundations ranging from 5’-6” diameter
by 30’ length to 12’-0” diameter by 46’-6” length

Required daily inspection of excavation, concrete placement and finish, field concrete
testing, and backfill

Wilding Engineering soils lab generated all gradations, proctors, and atterberg limits for
the excavation and material placement as well as compressive concrete strength
testing for all foundation concrete
