Rule Clarifications
Qualifier Cup Dates for Summer 2014 Session
9-Ball Tier 1 - Saturday, October 11th & Sunday,
October 12th
Switching the Cue Ball - It is legal for the home team to
switch the cue ball before the match begins (from oversized
to a regulation ball). Once the ball has been switched it
needs to be used for the remainder of the night.
9-Ball Tier 2 -Friday, October 10th, Saturday, October 11th &
Sunday, October 12th
Headphones - You are not allowed to wear headphones
during your match. If your opponent asks you to take them
off, you need to take them off.
Fall 2014 Schedule of Tournaments
Jump Shots - Jump shots are legal so long as they are
made with your shooting cue (not a specialty stick) and the
ball is not scooped. If you scoop the ball while executing a
jump shot it is a ball-in-hand foul. IF THE HOST
LOCATION HAS A SIGN STATING NO JUMP SHOTS,
THEN YOU CANNOT JUMP.
