Bakersfield Fire Dept. donates to CALM Bakersfield Firefighters were recently made aware that the on-site firefighting equipment at the California Living Museum was deteriorated and in need of replacement. BFD donated firefighting hose lines that were still 100 per cent functional but beyond outdates for Fire Department use. The hose was initially slated for destruction, but will now serve a much more beneficial purpose at CALM. In the event of a threatening interface fire, there will now be usable, deployable hose lines in place on the zoo facility site. Our sincere appreciation to the Bakersfield Fire Department and their generous donations! Congratulations Wildlife Rehabilitation class of 2017!
