When Quality Counts, Trust in Kissan (a tangy tomato based chicken dish) Ingredients: 1 tbsp ½ tsp ½ tsp ¼ cup 3 tsp 1½ Lb 4 tbsp 2 tsp 2 tsp 1 tbsp 1 medium 3 tbsp 1 tsp Kissan Tikka Masala or 2 tbsp Kissan Tikka Paste Kissan Garam Masala Kissan Curry Masala Kissan Crispy Fried Onions Kissan Olive Oil or Kissan Coconut Oil boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into small cubes crushed tomatoes crushed garlic chopped ginger lemon juice onion, diced plain yogurt salt (adjust to taste) Cooking Instructions: 1. Wash and prepare the chicken cubes. Set aside. 2. In a mixing bowl, create a marinade using Kissan Tikka Masala or Kissan Tikka Paste, 1 tsp Kissan Olive Oil, yogurt, salt to taste, Kissan Garam Masala and lemon juice. Mix well. 3. Add chicken cubes to marinade, coat the chicken and refrigerate overnight (or a few hours) 4. Heat 2 tsp of Kissan Olive Oil or Kissan Coconut Oil in a large non-stick frying pan. Add garlic, ginger and onions, fry over medium heat for a few minutes or until onions are soft. Add crush tomatoes, Kissan Curry Masala and salt to taste. Lower temperature to low-medium heat and cook for another 3-5 minutes. Add some oil or water if mixture starts to stick to pan. 5. Increase heat to medium-high temperature and add marinated chicken cubes. Stir fry until chicken is fully cooked. 6. Lower heat and add Kissan Crispy Fried Onions to mixture. Cook for approximately 3-5 minutes. 7. If more gravy is desired, add ¼ cup of boiled water and cook for a few more minutes. 8. When ready, garnish with coriander and serve with naan bread or basmati rice. www.kissan.ca
