The Eminent EM7080 hdMEDIA RT high definition media player plays all your
movies on your Full HD television. This all-round media player turns your living
room into a movie theatre. Watching your HD movies is fun and easy, because
the hdMEDIA RT is a very user-friendly device. Invite your friends and enjoy all
your movies in Full HD quality!
The most effective way to play your media
The EM7080 hdMEDIA RT is extremely easy to use. Just connect the HDMI cable to
your TV or Digital Receiver, and enjoy the crystal clear picture. The hdMEDIA supports
an optional internal hard drive (SATA) up to 1.5TB that you can easily connect to your
pc to be filled with media. And if you need more storage, simply connect a USB stick
or hard drive and display your media files on your television. The EM7080 hdMEDIA RT
also supports a broad range of mass-storage devices like digital cameras, camcorders,
and portable music players, allowing you to directly connect by USB and play back
the media stored on them.
Powerful Realtek chipset supports almost all video codecs
Thanks to the next-generation RT1073 DD processor, the EM7080 hdMEDIA RT can
decode a broad range of video files like WMV9, MKV, VC-1, AVCHD MPEG-4, H.264 &
X.264. All in Full HD 1080P resolutions. Classic formats like DivX, XviD, MPEG-1 and
MPEG-2 are also supported. The popular ISO file format for DVD-ROM has full menu,
chapters and subtitle support. BD-ROM ISO files can be played back with chapters
and PGS subtitle streams as well.
Plays music and photos at the same time
The hdMEDIA RT supports a broad range of audio files including MP3, OGG, and
the popular lossless FLAC format. And it’s capable of multitasking as well, allowing
you to play your music collection while watching your photos in a slide show at the
same time!

If you have a large library of files stored on your computer, you can simply connect the
hdMEDIA RT to a USB 2.0 port and quickly fill an (optional) internal hard disk with files.
And if a friend comes by with media you’d like to share, you can use the built-in file
manager to quickly copy files between the hdMEDIA RT and the friend’s USB disk.
Access your files stored on your network
The EM7080 hdMEDIA RT can play media directly from your LAN network. So if you
have your media files stored on a computer, or NAS device, you will love the networking
support that we have integrated into the EM7080 hdMEDIA RT. The internal 10/100
LAN port allows you to quickly connect your home network and play files directly from
your PC or other devices. Featuring full UPnP, SAMBA and NFS support you will never
have a dull moment in your home again.
