What is Loyola Loyal Day?





A 24 hour online giving campaign held in commemoration of Loyola University New Orleans’
founding.
We are asking all alumni to join the celebration by making a gift of any size to Loyola.
We encourage gifts to the Loyola Fund and the Harold Baquet Memorial Fund, but there is the
option to restrict a gift to a certain area through the donation page.
o The Loyola Fund which supports the University’s operations, scholarships, research, and
more, is a great place to show support in Loyola’s mission.
Any gift or pledge made on our website giving.loyno.edu/loyolaloyalday between noon on
Wednesday, April 12 and noon on Thursday, April 13 will count towards the Loyola Loyal Day
total.
Our goal is to get 400 gifts in 24 hours

Social Media Tips




Loyola has created a “LIKE” page that will include donor recognition and campaign updates
throughout the 24 hours. Start encouraging alumni to “Like” the page so they can receive
regular updates on what is going on. www.facebook.com/loyolaloyalday
Use the Loyola University Facebook page to “SHARE” messaging. The university will be posting
about Loyola Loyal Day and our progress throughout the day.
“TAG” as many of your Loyola friends and connections and challenge them to make their gift on
Loyola Loyal Day!
Use the hashtag #LoyolaLoyalDay when talking about the day of giving.
