Rob Scarrott, Strategic Water Planning Manager, Thames Water Rob has over 18 years of water sector and utility experience gained in industry, engineering consultancy and research. Rob has worked on a range of water industry projects from the development of the Flood Estimation Handbook, development of longterm planning approach for wastewater and development of the original concept of Target Headroom used in water resource planning in England and Wales. For the last 10 years Rob has worked at Thames Water on a range of roles in asset management, finance and regulation and has successfully led key parts of the company long-term business plan. Rob is currently the Strategic Water Planning Manager in Asset Management responsible for the end-to-end asset management process from strategy through to planning, modelling and leakage and demand forecasting. Rob has recently lead the company’s water resource management plan and creation of a more integrated source-to-tap approach of strategy and planning to both ensure supply reliability in the future, but also improve long-term customer service performance.
