The Six-‐Figure Swipe Copy

The Six-‐Figure Swipe Copy Ladies and gents – as promised: here is your Six-‐Figure Swipe Copy bonus! Inside this document, you’ll find the EXACT emails I’ve used to sell tens of thousands of books and grow my readership – taking you all the way from the moment your first subscriber signs up, all the way through to your next launch day and beyond. Make sure you’ve made your way through the Core Modules before attempting to use any of the emails I’ve listed out for you here – it’s essential that you understand the theory behind why these emails work so well before you unleash them on your own fans (sounds pretty ominous, right?). As always, these approaches can be used for fiction or non-‐
fiction. Just swap out the genre for one you’re working with. So, when you’re ready, let’s jump in!
The Welcome Email This is one of the most important emails you’ll send. First impressions count, so you want to make sure your welcome email delivers on your promises and sets the tone for what’s to come. Here’s mine: Thanks for subscribing!
Your subscription has been confirmed. Just to make sure you can
access your free book later, here's the permanent link:

I'll have another free book for you tomorrow - so look out for an email
from me!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my work - I hope you enjoy
reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
Authors wouldn't be anywhere without readers like you, so your
support REALLY means a lot. I'm a firm believer that books don't need
to be expensive or difficult to get hold of - so I want to encourage
EVERYONE to enjoy the pleasure of books - and not just mine.
I'd love to hear from you if you have any book recommendations of your
own, so please do get in touch if you've read anything awesome lately.
I'll be sure to pick up a copy of your recommendations and reply as soon
as I can.
If you ever have any questions, you get get in touch at
[email protected] or just reply to this message.
Above all, happy reading!

The “Getting to Know You” Email Building trust and relationships only works if we put the time in to learn about otehr people, right? So, that’s what this email does. By using this approach, you can start to build a valuable connection between you and your readers – which will help you massively in the long run. Personally, I send mine out 24 hours after someone subscribes (using an auto-‐responder) but you can make that longer or shorter as you like. Here’s mine: Hi!
I just wanted to get in touch to thank you for signing up to my Readers'
Group mailing list. It really does mean a lot. As an author, connecting
with readers is my number 1 priority - so feel free to email me back at
this address (or through my website, Facebook, or Twitter - details
below) if you ever need to get in touch, for any reason.
I believe that books should be enjoyed by as many people as possible. I
also believe that authors don't do enough to thank readers like you for
taking the time to read our work - you're the reason we get to do what
we love, and I think that deserves a big THANK YOU.
And now, a little bit more about what to expect from me.
This is a spam-free zone, so I'll only ever email you to let you know
about a new book release, or if I'm running a discount or promotion that
I think you'll like, or if I'm giving away any cool stuff like signed copies
of my books, free Kindle e-readers, tablets, or other top-notch goodies.
We all like to win prizes, right?
I don't want to clog your inbox - so you'll only hear from me a couple of
times per month, at the most. More importantly, if you've read any
great books recently that you think people should be checking out, drop
me a quick email - I'd love to get your recommendations. I want to hear
from you!
Have you read anything good lately?
Thanks for keeping in touch!

this out.

Running A Promotion Check out the Core Modules for more information on how to get double your results during a promotion. One of the key ways I do this is to run a giveaway or offer other booty during a big push. Here’s an example of an email that performed way above my expecations... Hi - Happy Monday!
How was your weekend?
I've got some great giveaways lined up for you this week. I'm having a
crazy flash sale, so I figured this was a good opportunity to send some
awesome goodies your way. Here's the deal...

Asking for Reviews I know, I know – a lot of authors get a little gun-‐shy when asking for reviews. But don’t-‐ask-‐don’t-‐get... am I right? You can ask your readers for reviews – and if you do it in the right way, it can have some amazing results. You can also use this template to ask your Launch Team for reviews on Launch Day. Here’s an example of how I do it: Hi - Happy Sunday!
How’s your weekend going? What did you get up to?
The missus and I sat down to a romantic meal, punctuated only by the
wails of our newborn son.
And then the wails of our two-year-old son shortly after. Oh, and the dog
was going nuts too.
That's how we roll in the Stephenson house...
On to business! I've got 10 signed paperback copies of Paydown: A
Leopold Blake Thriller to give away to 10 lucky winners.
You might remember - Paydown is the free book I sent you after you
were kind enough to sign up to my Readers' Group. Thank you again!
Paydown is my favourite of the Leopold Blake series - because it was the
first book I wrote that really got my brain whirring.
Much of the financial trickery and backstabbing that went on in the
story actually happened in real life. So it was a real kick to get all that
research down on paper.
So this book has a very special place in my heart.
To get your hands on a signed paperback copy, all you need to do is
consider leaving a review for the ebook edition and I'll enter your name
into the prize draw.
The reason I'm asking for reviews: reader reviews are the lifeblood of
any author's career. For a humble typewriter-jockey like myself, getting
reviews (especially on Amazon) means I can submit my books for
advertising.
Which means I can actually sell a few copies from time to time - which is
always a nice bonus :)
So every review means a lot to me - and I'd like to take the opportunity
to give something back.
If you click the link below, I'll be able to track your name and make sure
you're entered into the contest (it counts if you've previously left a
review too):
Click the link below to enter:
Link: http://noorosha.com/leave-a-review
Leaving a review is super easy:
1) click the link above
2) sign in to Amazon if prompted
3) select a star rating
4) write a few short words (or long words, I won't judge)
5) click the 'submit' button
The winners will be chosen at random in 48 hours (on the 17th
February at 5pm EST) so if you'd like to get your hands on some free
signed paperbacks, just click the link above before then.
To leave a review, just sign in to Amazon if requested, and fill in the box.
If your name is chosen, I'll also ask whether you'd like a personal
message (God forbid a writer should actually make something up...hah)
and I'll get your shipping details, etc.
If you don't want to win a signed paperback copy, I'd still love it if you
could take three minutes to let me know what you think of the book.
And if you'd like me to send you a personal thank-you email, just reply
to this address and let me know.
I'll be staying up late to thank each and every person who leaves a
review - because you rock.
Here's the link one more time:
Link: http://noorosha.com/leave-a-review
Once again, thank you for your support - and enjoy what's left of the
weekend!
Nick
*Important Note:
To be clear, you don't have to leave a positive review to enter the prize
draw - nor do you need to leave a review at all. Just clicking the link will
automatically enter you into the contest.
Even if you think Paydown was an egregious offence to literature and
you leave a -1,576* review, or if you decide not to leave a review at all,
you'll still qualify (no purchase or further action is required). So please
be truthful if you do decide to leave a review.
If you want to check out Amazon's review policy, more info is available
at amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200414320
And if you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this email - I'll
be keeping an eye on my inbox :)
Launch Week It’s that time again! Time to unleash your latest book on the world. But how do you get results? How do you overcome procrastination? Once again, make sure you’ve watched the Core Modules before you go ahead and use this approach – it will all make a ton more sense... Without further ado: Email #1: The day before Launch Hi Happy Thursday!
Just a super-quick note to let you know my latest novel, Fallen, is
hitting the shelves tomorrow.
It’s been a wild ride getting to this point!
This is without a doubt the best book I’ve ever written – and if you
enjoyed the previous books, you’re not going to want to miss this one.
All those sneaky cliff-hangers and unanswered questions? The will-they
/ won’t-they relationship between Leopold and Mary?
To say these issues get resolved is the understatement of the century...
Keep your eyes open for an email from me tomorrow with full details –
as well as how you can win a brand-spanking new Kindle Fire HD.
Until tomorrow... happy reading!
Nick
Email #2 Launch Day Hi - Happy Friday!

Fallen, is now live on Amazon. This is going to be the last Leopold Blake
book for a little while, as I start work on a new series, so expect a wild
ride and plenty of ante-upping (that's a word, right?).
Here's the set up:
When a wanted terrorist voluntarily surrenders himself into FBI
custody, expert criminology consultant Leopold Blake suddenly finds
himself drawn into a deadly game of cat and mouse – and he’s already
several moves behind. As the shocking truth is uncovered, Blake
realizes with chilling certainty that life as he knows it is over. An old
enemy has returned after decades in hiding, and, for him, getting
caught is only the beginning…
