IPCO Legend® Herbicide
IPCO Legend is a herbicide for control of wild oats and
green foxtail in wheat only. One case of Legend contains 2
components; Legend A herbicide; and Legend B adjuvant.
The active ingredient clodinafop-propargyl in Legend A is
similar to other products in the market with a formulation
of 240 grams / litre EC.
Package Size –
One case of Legend contains 1 jug of Legend A (3.68 Litres) and 1 jug of Legend B
(6.4 Litres). A case of Legend will treat 40 acres of wheat, at the most common
water volume of 5 gallons per acre. No additional adjuvant is required.
For growers who prefer to apply Legend at 10 gallons per acre (GPA), extra
Legend B adjuvant is required to maintain good performance. If additional
Legend B is not added to 10 gallons per acre applications of Legend, reduced
control of wild oats and green foxtail may occur. For every 40 acres of Legend
sprayed at 10 GPA, a grower will need 1 extra jug of Legend B. So, for example, a
grower applying Legend on 80 acres would need 2 cases of Legend and 1 case of
Legend B (see table below).
