Based on one of the most treasured Disney animated films of all time, and featuring
some of the world’s most memorable songs, Disney’s Sleeping Beauty KIDS is pure,
delightful fun.
It's Princess Aurora's sixteenth birthday, and three fairies – Flora, Fauna and
Merryweather – must use their magic to save her from the spell of the evil sorceress,
Maleficent! The fairies ensure that Aurora only falls into a deep sleep that can be
ended with a kiss from her betrothed, Prince Phillip. To prevent Phillip from rescuing
Aurora, Maleficent kidnaps and imprisons him. The good fairies are the last hope to
free Phillip so that he can awaken Aurora.
Veteran actors, Caroline Cerrrone (Junior at St Charles East H.S), Nathan Castagna
(Freshman at Geneva H.S), Sidney Ryan (Freshman at St Charles East H.S) and
Teagan Ditsworth (8th grader at Wredling M.S) will work with young performers and
collaborate closely with the MyStage production team to bring this fairy tale
adventure to life this fall!
Rehearsals starting 10/1: Tues 4-5:30PM & Sats 12:30-2:30
Casting is built into rehearsals
Tech Week: Nov 14-17, 4-5:30PM
Shows: Nov 18 @ 7PM, 19 & 20 @ 3PM
Tuition: $195, includes 40+ rehearsal hours, costume & script
