BSA dosing requires the accurate determination of an animal’s body weight
Clinically, this is particularly critical for animals of smaller body weight
Smaller dogs (eg, dogs weighing less than 16 kg) will have a relatively
greater DEXDOMITOR requirement per unit body weight than larger
dogs (eg, dogs weighing more than 16 kg)

Important Safety Information
Do not use DEXDOMITOR or ANTISEDAN in dogs with cardiovascular disease,
respiratory disorders, liver or kidney diseases, or in conditions of shock, severe
debilitation, or stress due to extreme heat, cold, or fatigue. As with all 2-adrenoceptor
agonists, the potential for isolated cases of hypersensitivity, including paradoxical
response (excitation), exists with DEXDOMITOR. Arrhythmias, bradycardia, and emesis
were observed in dogs during the DEXDOMITOR clinical field studies. DEXDOMITOR
has not been evaluated for use in breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. Occasional
vomiting may occur with ANTISEDAN use. Rarely, a brief state of excitement or
apprehensiveness may be seen in ANTISEDAN-treated dogs. Other potential side
effects of 2-antagonists, such as ANTISEDAN, include hypersalivation, diarrhea,

DEXDOMITOR may be reversed with an equal volume
of ANTISEDAN® (atipamezole) administered IM.
