Scale Drawings
Objective: To use and construct scale drawings and to learn how scale
drawings are used in everyday life.
Example: On a set of architectural drawings for an office building the
scale is 0.5 inch = 3 feet.
 Find the actual length of the Conference Room if the
drawing distance is 7 inches.
 Find the drawing distance if the actual length of the lobby is
12 feet.
Try these:
On a set of architectural drawings for a school, the scale is
