WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and assembly instructions
could result in serious injury or death. To help prevent serious or fatal
injuries from entrapment or fails:
˙Read all instructions before assembling bunk bed.
˙Before each usage or assembly, inspect bunk bed for damaged
hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. DO NOT use bunk
bed if any parts are missing or broken.
˙DO NOT use substitute parts, Contact PBTEEN for replacement parts
and instructional literature of needed.
˙Follow the information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk
end structure and on the carton. DO NOT REMOVE WARNING LABEL
FROM THE BED.
˙Always use the recommended size mattress or mattress support, or
both, to help prevent the likelihood of entrapment or falls.
˙Ensure thickness of mattress does not exceed 9inches and the surface
of mattress must be at least 5inches(127mm) below upper edge of
guardrails.
˙Use only mattress which is 74”-75” long and 52.5”-53.5” wide on upper
bunk.
˙Do not allow a children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
˙Periodically check and ensure that the guardrail, ladder and other
components are in their proper position, free from damage, and that all
connectors are tight.
˙Do not allow horseplay on or under the bed and prohibit jumping on the
bed.
˙Prohibit more than one person on the upper bunk.
˙Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
˙Use of a night light may provide added safety precautions for a child
using the upper bunk.
˙Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk. If the bunk
bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrail that runs the full length of
the bed should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment between
the bed and the wall.
˙The use of water or sleep flotation mattress is prohibited.
˙If refinishing, use a non-toxic finish specified for children’s products.
STRANGULATION HAZARD-Never attach or hang items to any part of
the bunk bed that are not designed for use with the bed; for example, but
not limited to, hooks, belts, and jump ropes.

Important Safety Instructions:
 Please read all instructions carefully before assembling this bookcase.
 For your safety, assembly by two or more adults is strongly recommended.
 Keep these instructions for future use.
 Use only vendor-supplied hardware to assembly this item. Using unauthorized hardware could
jeopardize the structural integrity of the item.
Pre-assembly:
 Remove all parts and hardware from the box. Place them on a carpeted or scratch-free work surface,
as this will avoid damaging parts. The shipping box provides an ideal work surface.
 To avoid accidentally discarding small parts or hardware, please do not dispose of any contents until
assembly is complete.
 Two people are recommended for your safety and ease of assembly.
 Prior to starting this assembly, use the parts and hardware lists to identify and separate each of the
pieces included.
 The illustrations provided allow for easier assembly when used in conjunction with the assembly
instructions.
 Note: Do not fully tighten any of the bolts until all parts are in place. Failure to follow these instructions
may cause the bolts to misalign during assembly.
 Please use caution if using power tools to aid in assembly. Power tools can damage the hardware or
split the wood.

Assembly Instruction Steps:
1. Using a Philip Head Screwdriver, remove the Back Panel by detaching the screws – 20x on it.
2. Insert the Dowel (Za) – (8pcs) into the pre-drilled holes of the Left Inner Right Post (G), Right Inner
Right Post (H) and Left Right Outer Posts (I) as shown below.

3. Step 3.1 – Adjust the leveler underneath the Left Inner Right Post (G) and Left Right Outer Post (I) to
keep the Posts balanced while installing to the TV Media.
4. Step 3.2 – With the help of locating dowel, align the pre-drilled holes of the Left Inner Right Post (G)
and Left Right Outer Post (I) to the pre-drilled holes on the outer sides of the TV Media side panels as
shown below. Insert the Flat Washer (U) followed by Spring Washer (T) and Allen Bolt (S) – (4sets) into
the pre-drilled holes at the inner side of the TV Media side panels through into the pre-drilled holes of
the Left Inner Right Post (G) and Left Right Outer Post (I) as shown below.
5. Using the Ball Tip Allen Key (L), tighten the Allen Bolt (S) in an anti-clockwise direction as shown below.
Do not over-tighten.
6. Fix on the Back Panel of the TV Media back by inserting the Screws – 20x into the pre-drilled holes of
Back Panel and tighten in a clock-wise direction with the help of a Philip Head Screwdriver.

7. Step 5.1 – Adjust the leveler underneath the Right Inner Right Post (H) and Left Right Outer Post (I) to
keep the Posts balanced while installing to the Bookcase.
8. Step 5.2 – With the help of locating dowel, align the pre-drilled holes of the Right Inner Right Post (H)
and Left Right Outer Post (I) to the pre-drilled holes on the outer sides of the Bookcase side panels as
shown below. Insert the Flat Washer (U) followed by Spring Washer (T) and Allen Bolt (S) – (4sets) into
the pre-drilled holes at the inner side of the Bookcase side panels through into the pre-drilled holes of
the Left Inner Right Post (G) and Left Right Outer Post (I) as shown below.
9. Using the Ball Tip Allen Key (L), tighten the Allen Bolt (S) in an anti-clockwise direction as shown below.
Do not over-tighten.
10. With the direction the TV Media and Bookcase are facing as shown below, install the Post Supporting
Rail (J) with the help of locating dowel into the dowel holes of Left Inner Right Post (G) and Right Inner
Right Post (H) as shown below.
11. Secure the Post Supporting Rail (J) to the Left Inner Right Post (G) and Right Inner Right Post (H) by
inserting the Half Moon Washer (P) followed by Flat Washer (O), Spring Washer (N) and Allen Bolt (M)
– (2sets) into the pre-drilled holes of the Post Supporting Rail (J) through into the pre-drilled holes of
Left Inner Right Post (G) and Right Inner Right Post (H) as shown below.
12. Using the Ball Tip Allen Key (L), tighten the Allen Bolt (M) in a clockwise direction as shown below. Do
not over-tighten

13. Secure the Mending Plate (Y) to the Headboard (A) – (2pcs) by inserting Allen Bolt (Z) – (2sets) into
the holes of the Mending Plate (Y) through into the pre-drilled holes of the Head Board (A).
14. Using the Ball Tip Allen Key (L), tighten the Allen Bolt (Z) in a clockwise direction as shown below. Do
not over-tighten.
15. With the help of locating dowels, pre-fix the Side Rail (B) onto the Head Board.
16. Secure the Side Rail (B) to the Head Board by inserting the Half Moon Washer (P) followed by Flat
Washer (O), Spring Washer (N) and Allen Bolt (M) – (4sets) into the pre-drilled holes of the Side Rail (B)
through into the pre-drilled holes of Head Board (A) as shown below.
17. Using the Ball Tip Allen Key (L), tighten the Allen Bolt (M) in a clockwise direction as shown below. Do
not over-tighten

18. With the brackets already fixed on the Long Guardrail (E), slot in the Long Guardrail (E) onto the right
Side Rail (B) as shown below.
19. Secure the Long Guardrail (E) to the Side Rail (B) by inserting the Phillips Head Screw (V) into the
holes of brackets and screw in the Phillips Head Screw into the Side Rail (B) using the Philip Head
Screwdriver (not included) in a clockwise direction as shown below. Do not over-tighten.
20. Before you set up the Short Guard Rail (F), below in an illustration of the position you may prefer.

21. With the brackets already fixed on the Short Guardrail (F), slot in the Short Guardrail (F) onto the Side
Rail (B) as shown below.
22. Secure the Short Guardrail (F) to the Side Rail (B) by inserting the Phillips Head Screw (V) into the
holes of brackets and screw in the Phillips Head Screw into the Side Rail (B) using the Philip Head
Screwdriver (not included) in a clockwise direction as shown below. Do not over-tighten.
23. Install the Corner Bracket (W) – (3pcs) into each upper corner of the three sides as shown below.
Place the holes of the Corner Bracket (W) onto the pre-drilled holes as shown below. Insert the
Machine Screw (X) into the holes of the Corner Bracket (W) and tighten it with the Philip Head
Screwdriver (not included).

24. Place the Center Support Rail (C) onto the Mending Plate (Y) that were installed earlier on the bottom
rail of the Head Board (A). Secure by inserting the Allen Bolt (Z) – (2pcs) into the holes underneath the
Mending Plate (Y) as shown below. Tighten it with using the Ball Tip Allen Key in an anti-clockwise
direction as shown below. Do not over-tighten.
25. Place the Slats (D) onto the Center Support Rail (C) as shown below.
26. Secure the Slats (D) with inserting Phillips Head Screw – (28pcs) into the pre-drilled holes on each end
of the Slats (D). Tighten it with using the Philip Head Screwdriver as shown below. Do not over-tighten.

27. Insert the Connector Bolt (R) – (4pcs) into the holes top of the Left Inner Right Post (G), Right Inner
Right Post (H) and Left Right Outer Posts (I) with the holes of the Connector Bolt (R) aligning with the
Postts as shown below.
28. Insert the Flat Washer (U), followed by Spring Washer (T) and Allen Bolt (S) into the pre-drilled holes
found on the inner side of the Left Inner Right Post (G), Right Inner Right Post (H) and Left Right Outer
Posts (I). Tighten the Allen Bolt (S) with the Ball Tip Allen Key in a clockwise direction. DO not overtighten.
29. With the help of 2 adults or more, lift the upper bed up and place it on top the lower bunk by inserting
the Connector Bolt into the holes found underneath the posts of the Head Board (A).
30. Insert the Flat Washer (U), followed by Spring Washer (T) and Allen Bolt (S) into the pre-drilled holes
found on the inner side of the Head Board (A) Posts. Tighten the Allen Bolt (S) with the Ball Tip Allen
Key in a clockwise direction. DO not over-tighten

31. Turn the bracket out that can be found underneath the Long Guardrail (E) and Short Guardrail (F) to
position underneath the Side Rail (B) as shown below.
32. Insert the Philip Head Screw (V) into the holes of the bracket and tighten it with using the Philip Head
Screwdriver (not included) as shown below.
33. Fix the Ladder (K) onto the Bed by latching the hooks on the Ladder (K) onto the Side Rail (B) as
shown below.
34. Tighten the Ladder (K) to the Side Rail (B) by inserting Phillips Head Screw (V) into the holes of the
Ladder (K) brackets and tighten it with using the Philip Head Screwdriver in a clockwise direction as
shown below. Do not over-tighten.

35. Place the Cushy Cushion behind the Bookcase as shown below.
36. Assembly is complete.
Care Instructions:
 Dust often using a clean, soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
 Blot spills immediately and wipe with a clean, damp, cloth.
 We do not recommend the use of chemical cleansers, abrasives or furniture polish on our lacquered
finish.
 Hardware may loosen over time. Periodically check to make sure all connections are tight.
Re-tighten if necessary.
