Present the “Summer in the City Movie Series” offering 8 free, family friendly movies to children and families
from neighborhoods in and around the Palace Theatre in downtown Albany, with targeted outreach to lowincome and underserved families in the City. The movie series provides children with the opportunity to enjoy
the excitement and beauty of the historic Palace theatre while offering fun, safe and positive opportunities to
become engaged in the arts. For this series, the theatre opens one hour prior to the show-time to engage the
community in educational experiences and beat the summer heat!
