Easter!

stuffing, whipped potatoes, sliced carrots, cranberry sauce, soft dinner roll, and dessert.

entertainment. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 1st at 10am.
Voting. Don’t forget to vote on Tuesday, May 3rd. The Danvers Senior Center is the voting

The Good News: The Medicare part D “donut hole” is closing. The Bad News: Not until the
year 2020. The federal Patient Protection and affordable Care Act (often known as Health
Care Reform) provides for gradual closure of the Medicare Part D “donut hole.” That hole will
not fully close until 2020. This year, when Medicare beneficiaries (who do not get Extra Help)
reach the donut hole, their Part D plan will pay 50% of covered brand name drugs and 7% of
covered generic drugs. The beneficiary’s cost will be the remaining 50% (brand name) or 93%
(generic). If you take a brand name drug that costs $300, you will still have to pay $150!!
This is where Prescription Advantage can help. Prescription Advantage, the Massachusetts
prescription drug assistance program, can help reduce your out-of-pocket costs even further
when you reach the donut hole. To find out how to lower your drug costs, call Prescription
Advantage at 1-800-243-4636 or TTY for the deaf and hard of hearing at 1-977-610-0241.
The money you save can be your own!
Evening Dining Program. This month’s dinner program will be held on Thursday, April 28th
from 5pm-7pm and will include fresh haddock fillet with a lemon buttered bread crumb, traditional rice pilaf, green beans almandine and a fresh whipped cream strawberry shortcake cup.
Tickets are $6.00 pr person and entertainment will be Ethan Stone. Tickets will go on sale
Monday, April 4th at 10am.
DCOA Golf League: There will be a kick off meeting for the Golf League on Tuesday April
12th at 10:30 AM in the Great Room of the Danvers Senior Center. This will be an organizational meeting to discuss how the league will be run in 2011. If you have any ideas about how
the league should operate, would like to get involved in running the league, or just want to socialize; this is the meeting for you. If you can not attend the meeting and have some thoughts
on changes you would like to see, or were not a member last year and want to know more
about the league, please contact David Tapparo at 978-777-0028 or [email protected].
