1. Starting at the crown area and working
horizontal/diagonal, take a slice parting of natural hair
and leave un-foiled, then take seven back-to-back slice
partings (working toward the front) and apply PreLighten Formula.
2. Directly underneath, starting at the front hairline and
leaving a small slice of natural hair un-foiled, take three
back-to-back vertical/diagonal slice partings and apply
Pre-Lighten Formula. Leave a section of hair un-foiled
approximately 1-inch in width, then take two more
vertical/diagonal slice partings and apply Pre-Lighten
Formula.
3. Move to opposite (longer) side on the top section and
working toward the fringe area, take four back-to-back
vertical-diagonal slice partings and apply Pre-Lighten
Formula.
4. Proceed to the side section directly underneath, take
four back-to-back horizontal-diagonal slice partings
(working from the front hairline toward the back) and
apply Pre-Lighten Formula. Lighten hair to a level 8
yellow/orange, and rinse. Apply Color Endure Shampoo
and rinse. Apply K-PAK Deep-Penetrating Reconstructor,
leave for 5 minutes and rinse and dry hair. Ready for
Phase 2 (Color Technique).
5. Starting at the crown area take a diagonal
slice parting and apply Formula 1.
6. Directly underneath, take a second back-to-back
diagonal slice parting, apply Formula 2. Repeat
procedure three more times, for a total of eight foils.
Proceed to the section below, take a vertical-diagonal
slice parting and apply Formula 2, take a second backto-back vertical-diagonal slice parting, apply Formula 1.
Repeat procedure once, then take a one last back-toback vertical-diagonal slice parting and apply Formula 2,
for a total of five foils. Proceed to the section directly
below the first section and take four back-to-back
horizontal/diagonal slice partings, alternating Formula 1
and Formula 2.
7. Proceed to opposite side section and take eight backto-back vertical/diagonal slice partings (working toward
the back), alternating Formula 2 and Formula 1.
8. Proceed to fringe area, take a diagonal slice parting
and apply Formula 1. Directly underneath, take a second
back-to-back diagonal slice parting, apply Formula 2.
Repeat both formulas one more time.
9. Completed foiling procedure sides and back view. Apply
Base Formula to all remaining un-foiled hair. Process 35
minutes. Rinse. Shampoo with K-PAK Shampoo then rinse.
Apply K-PAK Cuticle Sealer, leave in 5 minutes then rinse.
Apply K-PAK Intense Hydrator, leave in 5 minutes then
rinse. Style hair as desired.
