We are currently seeking a Sr. Accountant/Financial Analyst to join our team. Responsibilities: Responsible for all accounting and reporting functions for the Crystal Lake facility. Leads all day-to-day accounting operations with functional responsibility over general ledger, accounts payable, account receivable and payroll. Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements, daily cash requirements and account reconciliations. Investigates manufacturing cost variances providing recommendations for process improvements that maximize profitability. • • • • • • • • Ensures all accounts, ledgers and reporting systems are in compliance with appropriate GAAP standards. Performs month-end financial statement preparation, journal entries, account reconciliation, variance analysis and reporting of budget, forecast and actual results. Manages daily cash requirements for corporate operating account and secondary commercial accounts ensuring compliance with banking requirements. Maintains accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciling discrepancies in a timely manner. Administers weekly payroll with outside payroll service provider. Investigates manufacturing variances and works with cross-functional teams to improve processes that maximize profitability. Ensures all tax forms and reports are filed timely with government agencies. Prepares departmental management reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures. Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, statistics, and their applications.
