Department: Deposit Account Services
Reports To: Director of Deposit Operations
Status: Full-time Position with Benefits
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for accurate review of the capture of daily proof work;
location of any errors; and appropriate adjustments and corrections. Additional
duties include and are not limited to: Courtesy Amount Recognition (C.A.R.) item
entry, batch total balancing, and creation of daily cash letters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Item Processing
Process deposit transaction documents at the close of business daily.
Accurately locate errors and make appropriate adjustments and corrections to
deposit transaction correspondence to ensure the transactions are in balance.
Identify deposit item processing corrections made the prior business day and for
correction information to Account Services Supervisor
Transfer blocks of batch runs
Cash Letters
Download incoming cash letters from Federal Reserve (Fedline) and First
National Bankers Bank (FNBB)
Prepare outgoing cash letters and submit to FNBB
Research and adjust cash letter correspondence, as needed.
Other Duties
Prepare Electronic Banking File Maintenance
Scan documents into bank imaging system
Serve as back-up for Account Services Quality Control, as needed
Assist Account Services, as needed
Assist in preparation of outgoing mail, as needed.

Works under the supervision of Director of Deposit Operations
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma, Associates Degree Preferred
Previous Bank Teller/Operations experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to work independently and accurately meet daily deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and very detail oriented.
Proficient in basic math skills.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Excel , Word , Outlook .
Desire to work in harmony within department and with other departments within
the Bank.

Monday – Friday – 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
