Get ready for weekly updates on the progress of each of these teams! T I G E R S T R AC K A N D F I E L D N E W S Transfiguration Track and Field has had a busy first two weeks! Athletes ran a onemile and a 100 meter dash time trial to check out their endurance and speed. Our goal is for each athlete to improve their time trial time by the end of the season. The group has split into sprinting and distance groups at practice. Coach Rivard has been busy leading the troops in mind exercises to prepare them for the first meet this Saturday, March 28 at Totino Grace High School. “In order to truly compete at their best, our athletes need to be 100% focused – physically and mentally,” said Rivard, who has a PhD in sports psychology from Harvard University. “Envisioning the track, their race, and what they’ll be wearing, really gives our kids the upper edge.” Rivard has been wearing war paint to practice since Wednesday to get our track stars ready for the meet! Even though some athletes will be out of town for spring break, our first meet should be a great showing of athleticism and fun!! Stay tuned for results!! 2015 TIGER BASKETBALL CLINIC Brought to you by Tiger Pride Booster Club Transfiguration School has a storied basketball tradition and we look to continue that for years to come.
