Miles Over the Moon 4 Mile Road Race
A “Midsummer’s Night” Run
All proceeds to support the Wicked Running Club Youth Running Fund.
This fund supports annual donations to local high school track
programs and the family-friendly Wicked Kidz race.

Entry Fee: $25 pre-registration /$30 on race day.
Location: Race to start on Washington Sq. East; Registration @ Knights of Columbus 94 Washington Sq. East, 6:30 - 7:30

Course: New course for 2017 features a fast and fun four miles through historic Salem featuring waterfront views.
T-Shirts: We’re partnering with Craft Sportswear to offer an awesome glow-in-the-dark race shirt to the first 300
registered runners. Shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed.
Awards: Trophies for overall winners Male and Female. Age group medals for top 3 males and females: Youth (19 and
under), 20-29, 30-39, Masters (40-49), Senior Masters (50-59), (60-69), (70 and over). Results posted on
Coolrunning.com
Text Message Results: North Shore Timing Company will be providing text message results. When a runner finishes they
will receive a text message which includes place and time in the race.

Runners Safety: Because this is a nighttime race we encourage all runners to wear reflective clothing. The course is not
closed off to traffic and we want everyone to have a fun and safe time. Please be sure to be cognizant of your
surroundings including your fellow runners.

Waiver Must Be Read and Signed Before Mailing: I know that running is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run this event unless I am medically able and properly trained.
I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this race including, but not limited to, falls,
contact with other participants, the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated
by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release
the Miles over the Moon, Wicked Running Club and all sponsors, organizers, and volunteers of this event; the City of Salem; their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities
of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. All fees are
nonrefundable.
