Herder increases

Herder’s area of expertise has expanded from just traditional waterside
applications to management of all green spaces. Herder’s products consist of
a broad basic range of equipment, which includes mowing arms for mounting
on both wide and narrow track tractors. The range also includes self-propelled
ditch cleaning machines and vehicles for cutting and dredging work. You can
further enhance the capability of your Herder machine thanks to a wide variety
of hydraulically powered tools.
The mowing bucket is designed to mow grass and reed-like vegetation in
ditches and watercourses, both above and under the water. The width of the
standard bucket varies from 2.00 to 5.50 metres and even larger buckets can be
constructed upon request. The flail mower is used to maintain wild vegetation.
The advantage of the Herder flail mower is its robust design with a variety of
options: different widths, flails and hydraulic rotating heads. The hedge mower
is used to mow and prune the woody growth of hedges and trees with a
diameter of up to 35 mm. A complete range of stump grinders is available under
the name Herder-Fermex, both self-propelled and powered by a PTO shaft.

produced in an exceptionally well-equipped and spacious manufacturing facility
of approximately 10,000 m². Only high quality and sustainable materials are
used in the production process. Most parts are produced in-house by Herder,
which means we are not only able to offer a consistent quality, but also the very
highest quality. The same requirements are placed on the parts that come from
external suppliers. In order to guarantee quality at every level, the factory has its
own paint shop where paints that cause the least harm to the environment are
applied.
