Sampling Date April 12th Taste Explorers Item Strawberry Cucumber Water Strawberry Cucumber Water Servings: 2 Quarts Ingredients 2 Quarts Cold Water 10 oz Fresh Strawberries 7 oz Sliced Cucumber Directions 1. Measure water and place in beverage container. 2. Wash and thinly slice strawberries and cucumbers. 3. Place sliced strawberries and cucumbers in water in beverage container. 4. Refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours to allow the ingredients to infuse together. Did You Know? The human body is made up of roughly 70 percent water and newborn babies bodies are made up of roughly 80 percent water. Strawberry Cucumber Water Water is another nutrient that your body needs daily to maintain balance. On average, humans need eight 8 oz glasses or 64 oz of water daily. Try adding different fruits or vegetables to your water to give it more flavor. Monthly Challenge This month’s challenge is to try to drink eight- 8 ounce glasses or 64 ounces of water daily using a reusable bottle.
