New Features
The following are new features that enhance the operation of Teradata Appliance Backup
Utility (ABU):
• Schema Object has been added as a new object type which may be backed up and
restored.
• The DOT Notation/ Schema Object feature was added to extend "dot notation" and allow
customers to load CSV and AVRO into tables without having to go through table physical
design. It provides simplicity and ease of use for the user in loading and accessing new
data and file types via dot notation.
