All three lenses have an aperture range of f/5.6 to f/22 and boast powerful resolution, low distortion and high contrast even in difficult low light conditions. The applications of the lenses differ slightly: The Super-Digitar 5,6/28 XL is designed for the professional architectural photographer and those who need an impressive angle of view combined with considerable camera movement via perspective control and shift. This 5.6/28 XL. Electronic-Shutter 0 lens has a very large image circle of 90 mm and will surpass the movement limitations of modern view cameras. The apochromatic, 10 element, double Gaussian type lens design shows excellent performance of about 80 line pairs with excellent contrast even at full aperture. With the introduction of the new high performance Apo-Digitar 5,6/43 mm XL lens, Schneider Kreuznach closes the gap between standard lenses and the 28 mm wide angle lens for larger sized ccd's. This lens design is optimized for architectural photographers who need a moderate wide angle lens with standard perspective and dramatic movement capabilities. The coverage of 110 mm allows also for stitching with the largest ccd sizes. 5.6/43 XL. Electronic-Shutter 0 The Apo-Digitar 5,6/60 mm is a completely new lens design and is ideal for use with high end digital backs with a 60mm diagonal. Images taken with this normal perspective lens have extremely high resolution, low distortion and no visible chromatic aberration. The impressive 120 mm image circle provides room for ample tilt and shift movement when necessary. New improvements in lens production and measurement technologies allow for serial production of an 8 element double Gaussian lens with a quality never seen before. 5.6/60 XL.
