School Notes Each Lenten season, the students of Sacred Heart participate in the three pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. There are two opportunities for the students to contribute money to charitable organizations. Our first collection benefitted the Missionary Childhood Association, an organization that supports needy children throughout the world, and the second collection was donated to the Sacred Heart St. Vincent de Paul Society, in support of the good work they do to help those in need in our community.
