Tools for generating pipeline alignment sheets directly from continuously
maintained data sources.
SheetGen is a software application that automatically generates
pipeline alignment sheets directly from relational databases and
geographic information systems. SheetGen not only provides you
with up-to-date construction quality drawings of your pipeline
system, but also improves analysis and decision-making by
allowing you to easily visualise various types of aligned data.
Overview
With SheetGen, alignment sheets become “reports” of pipeline
facility, integrity, and geographic data that can be quickly
generated and plotted. The data presented in the various bands
are dynamically queried from the data source to ensure the most
up-to-date view. That data is then displayed according to
established characteristics.
We work with our customers to design their standard templates customised to present the types of data they want to see and in a
format that best suits their needs. The data sources and display
characteristics are managed as alignment sheet types via an
easy-to-use Format Sheet Wizard. This unique tool gives you the
flexibility to re-format and design your own sheets on an ad-hoc
basis. This means you can create sheets to specifically assist you
with key aspects of the pipeline operation such as construction,
maintenance management, and integrity analysis.
