CONGRADULATIONS
Jason and Julia Crawford were blessed with a new
baby boy, Caleb Dean Crawford.
He was born on Monday, August 11th at 7:10 p.m.
and weighed 5lbs.
Their new address is: 720 S. Chestnut St. McPherson, KS 67460
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION APPRECIATION MONTH
During the month of August we are recognizing those individuals
who so dependably serve in the areas of Christian Education,
instruction and training in our Church family.
CE WORKERS TRAINING
Wednesday, August 20th 7:00p.m.
All those who teach children and youth in Sunday School, Kids Klub,
Youth Group and Children’s Church are asked to attend.
The CE Team has developed a new classroom management plan that
they would like to review and have each CE worker to agree to. The
meeting will be between 1 1/2 and 2 hours in length.
BACK TO SCHOOL POT LUCK & PRAYER TIME
Next Sunday Evening, August 24th, 6:00 p.m.
Please bring one savory and one sweet dish.
Singles may join together to bring their dishes

coming year or if you work in the school system in some way and
you have not given us that information yet, please fill out the

There is a Ladies Luncheon on the last Friday of
every month at the Downtown Sampler,
at 11:30. The next one will be Friday August 29th.

KIDS KLUB, YOUTH GROUP AND PASTOR’S FALL
BIBLE CLASS WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY,
SEPTEMBER 3RD AT 6:45 P.M.
Pastor’s Study will be a verse by verse study of the New Testament
book of Ephesians. “DISCOVERING OUR RICHES IN CHRIST”
Kids Klub will be an interactive program that
includes Bible lessons, games, crafts, and singing.
Invitation Post Cards are on the back table
for you to use to invite Children.
Youth Group will include a Bible study,
games and lots of fun and interaction.
Nursery will be provided.

BRIAN YOUNG SPEAKING IN HUTCHINSON
Monday evening, August 18, at 7 p.m.
The Reno County Home Educators are hosting Brian Young, from the
Creation Association for their fall Kick-off event. Brian is an
international speaker and will present a program entitled:
“A Biblical View of Education”. The event will be held at
Crossroads Christian Church located at 4310 North Monroe.
Fellowship and refreshments follow Brian’s program. We hosted
Brian for his creation instruction seminar a few years ago.
