Class Descriptions All of our classes can be altered to suit your needs, if you have special needs please let the instructor know prior to class beginning. Absolution (15 Minutes) Strengthen and tone your abs then lengthen and relax your body. Flexibility is a crucial part of any workout routine. Make time to stretch and get your abs tweaked all in one quick class! Barre (50 Minutes) 15 Participants max The barre workout incorporates light weight sculpting, ballet, Pilates and yoga to give you a long lean dancer's body. This graceful total body routine will leave tighten in all the right places leaving you with an amazing physique. Within a few sessions you will be a longer and leaner version of yourself. BootCamp (30 Minutes) 15 participant max Boot Camp classes combine intervals of cardio drills and muscle conditioning exercises to provide you with the ultimate circuit workout. Expect the unexpected in these full-body classes, which are packed with lots of variety and tons of fun! Butts & Guts (30 Minutes) 20 participant max Lift your rear and tone your midsection! This challenging class focuses on your glutes and abdominals and is a great complement to any strength training routine! Cardio Kickbox (50 Minutes) 25 Participant max Kickboxing is a combination of dance and martial arts that will improve your endurance and cardiovascular fitness, tone muscles and shred your abs if you practice consistently with power and precision. Be ready for high intensity intervals coupled with toning recovery periods to zap calories and define your muscles. Core & More (30 Minutes) 20 participant max Get a great core workout and hit some extra spots while you’re at it! Be ready each week to work different body parts to compliment your abs!! Core Strength & Stretch (20 Minutes) 25 participants max An alignment class that focus on two very important components of fitness: core strength and flexibility. Fitness Fusion (45 Minutes) 20 participants max Fitness Fusion is a strength based class consisting of low weight and high repetition. Get ready to engage your muscles and feel the burn! Functional Fitness (30 Minutes) 15 Participants max This class is designed to improve your overall balance and strength and lower your risk of injury. The class will consist of performing upper and lower body muscle groups while simultaneously engaging the core! Mat Interval (45 Minutes) 20 Participant max Join in on a combination of breath, yoga & Pilates movements in a class that incorporates high interval bursts of strength & cardio using your own body weight. Meditation (30 Minutes) 25 participant max (Held in Cal 420.02) This will be a chance for you to unplug, de-stress, find some inner peace and feel better in just a half hour. Sit on the floor or a chair, no special clothing just come as you are. Each session is open to anyone, with or without experience. Discover the benefits of meditation and mindfulness for yourself! Pilates (30 Minutes) 20 participant max Tone and strengthen your abdominals, hips, and back. This classic Pilates class emphasizes precise body alignment, mental focus, and breath work for a refreshing mind/body workout resulting in improved posture, flexibility, and strength. All levels welcome. Six-packs & Guns (30 Minutes) 20 participant max We’re talking about abs and arms here! Work on your six-pack abs and tone your arms in this dual purpose sculpting class! Strictly Strength (30 Minutes) 20 participant max This total body strength training class is designed to build lean muscle mass. Grab a set of dumbbells and let’s start lifting! Tabata Transformation (30 Minutes) 15 participants max The tabata method transforms short, full-body workouts into long lasting results! The total time per exercise is four minutes flat, and consists of eight cycles of full-effort work for twenty seconds, which is then followed by ten seconds of recovery. TNT Circuit (30 Minutes) 15 participant max Intermediate & Advanced Participants Get your heart rate up during this full-body strength training workout. Expect cardio intervals, a variety of muscle conditioning exercises and a different strength workout each week! Do it today; because There’s No Tomorrow!!! Tread & Shed (30 Minutes) Sick and tired of the same old treadmill routine? Tread & shed will help you mix it up through varying inclines and speeds to challenge your body like cardio should!! Be ready to hop off the treadmill and add in some strength training as well! X Train Challenge (30 Minutes) 15 participant max Challenge yourself by mixing aerobics with strengthening exercises. During class we will incorporate running on the treadmill along with weight training to condition your entire body! Yoga Level 1 & 2 (50 Minutes) 16 participant max (Held in Cal 420.02) Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching to increase strength, flexibility, and balance. Level 2 is for those who have some yoga experience and are familiar with Sun Salutations. This class moves at a faster pace and includes more advanced poses than Level 1.
