A “Flow Proof” Story
Soon you will be writing flow proofs in geometry. To get used to the flow of events and what needs to happen or be shown before something else can
happen or be shown, let’s create a flow of events for the following story.
Chelsey and Mari were going to the movies. Before she could go, Chelsey had to do her chores and brush her teeth. Before she could go, Mari had to
walk the dog. They met at the box office and bought tickets together. Inside, Mari bought them popcorn while Chelsey went to the restroom. They
found seats and enjoyed the movie. As they were walking out the theater, they discussed what happened and what they liked about the movie. The
next day, Mari recommended the movie to her friend, Sarah.
