Stay on the phone until the 9-1-1
operator tells you it’s ok to hang up.
What not to do When
Calling 9-1-1

If you call by mistake, stay on the
line and tell the 9-1-1 operator
that you dialed wrong.

Do not call 9-1-1 as a joke or a
prank. You can get into serious
trouble. More importantly, you
can delay someone else getting
the help they need in an emergency.
I SPY …..
Safety, Safety, What Do You See?
I see four fire trucks, a ladder and a toy badge for me. I see the words fire and safety and
a nice spotted Dalmatian; look to your left to see a firefighter standing in formation. A
whistle and a flashlight are not all; find the numbers 9-1-1 four times, although one may be
small. A fire hydrant is not far from a special symbol called the Cross of Maltese; a sign of
courage, honor and integrity.
