BFS Group Continues to Grow Their National Presence
New Regional Managing Director Announced
October 10th, 2016– Newtown, Pennsylvania– BFS Group is pleased to announce that
Dan Neil has recently joined the team as a Regional Managing Director in our Southwest region.

Dan Neil is a native of Cypress, TX located just outside of Houston. He attended the University of Texas from 1992 to
1997. Dan was a 2 time All-American on the University of Texas Football team and 1996 team MVP. Drafted by the
Denver Broncos in 1997 in the 3rd round and went on to play 8 seasons with the Broncos. Dan was a two-time Super Bowl
champion with the Denver Broncos who started in 104 games as right guard.
After retiring from professional football Dan earned his general lines insurance license from Texas and started a second
career in financial planning. Dan began his career working with business owners at Wortham in Austin, TX. In 2013,
Dan accepted a position with Treloar & Heisel working with dental specialists and personal financial planning. He
worked with Ohio National as a Regional Sales Director prior to accepting a position with BFS Group out of their Austin,
TX region.
Dan has three children; Alex who attends Westlake High School and is a cheerleader, David who attends Westlake High
School and is a member of the football team and Dani who attends Hill Country Middle School and is a volleyball player.
Dan and his family moved from Denver to Austin, TX in 2005 and lives in the Westlake area. He is a board member of
the NFL Alumni that raises money for children’s charities in the Central Texas area.
