WHEREAS, the C i t y Planning Commission o f t h e C i t y of Mesquite
and t h e governing body of t h e C i t y of M e s q u i t e , i n compliance w i t h
t h e C h a r t e r of t h e C i t y of Mesquite a n d S t a t e Laws w i t h r e f e r e n c e
t o g r a n t i n g of zoning changes under t h e Zoning o r d i n a n c e R e g u l a t i o n s
and Zoning Map, have given t h e r e q u i s i t e n o t i c e s by p u b l i c a t i o n and
o t h e r w i s e and, a f t e r holding due h e a r i n g s and a f f o r d i n g a f u l l and
f a i r h e a r i n g t o a l l p r o p e r t y owners g e n e r a l l y and t o t h e p e r s o n s
i n t e r e s t e d and s i t u a t e d i n t h e a r e a , the C i t y of Mesquite i s of t h e

of Ordinance No. 858 a t such time as t h e City
s h a l l r e q u i r e t h e improvement o f the drainage
channel.
S E C T I O N 2.
That a l l ordinances of t h e City o f Mesquite i n
c o n f l i c t w i t h t h e provisions of t h i s ordinance be, and the same
a r e , h e r e b y repealed, and a l l o t h e r ordinances of t h e c i t y o f
Mesquite n o t i n c o n f l i c t with t h e p r o v i s i o n s of t h i s ordinance
s h a l l remazn i n f u l l force and e f f e c t .
SECTION 3.
That t h e property described in Exhibit "A" s h a l l
be used o n l y i n t h e manner and f o r t h e purposes provided for by
t h e Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of 1964.
S E C T I O N 4.
T h a t should any paragraph, sentence, subdivision,
c l a u s e , p h r a s e , or s e c t i o n o f t h i s ordinance be adjudged o r h e l d
t o be u n c o n s t i t u t z o n a l , i l l e g a l , o r i n v a l i d , t h e same s h a l l not
a f f e c t t h e v a l i d i t y of t h i s ordinance a s a whole, o r any p a r t o r
p r o v i s i o n hereof other than t h e p a r t so decided t o be i n v a l i d ,
i l l e g a l , o r u n c o n s t i t u t i o n a l and s h a l l n o t a f f e c t the v a l i d i t y of
t h e Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance as a whole.

($200.00), f o r each o f f e n s e .
