Teamwork Activities and Poster
Dear Teacher,
Help your class welcome spring with muddy puddle fan and beloved character Peppa Pig!
Through friendship, learning, and fun, students will explore what they can accomplish
when they work together like Peppa and her friends.
Learn about the new special peppasode “The Golden Boots” on the parent (grown-ups)
letter and make copies of the letter to send home and extend the teamwork message.

Time Needed: Approximately 45 to 60 minutes.
Getting Started
• H
ang up the classroom poster and have
students describe what they see.
• E
xplain that Peppa wants to make a big
muddy puddle splash. Ask:
– How can Peppa’s friends help her? (Working
as a team, they can make a big splash.)
– What would happen if Peppa was by herself?
(The splash would be smaller.)
– Peppa must wear her boots in puddles. If she
lost her boots, how could her friends help
her? (They could help her find the boots.)
• D
iscuss with your students what makes a
good friend and team player. Ask:
– How are you a team in the classroom?
(Encourage students to think of ways they
join in to work together, help one another,
take turns, and include others.)
• Distribute the activity pages.
• E
xplain to kids that they will work as a team
to complete the activities and then share what
they’ve learned about friendship and teamwork.
• A
dd a picture of your students working
together to the poster and update the picture
weekly to encourage teamwork.
Using the Activity Pages
Peppa’s Boot Maze—Read the activity to the
class. Students will work in teams or with a
partner to help Peppa complete a maze to find
her boots. Explain how they’ll need to collect
Peppa’s friends to guide them to the finish line.
I’m a Good Friend!—Talk to students about what
makes a good friend. For example, a good friend
is helpful and kind. Peppa’s friends help her find
her boots and make a muddy puddle splash. Then,
in the boots, have students draw one example of
what makes them a good friend. They can then
decorate the boots to hang on their classroom
cubbies or to create a teamwork bulletin board!

Reproduce for Families
Dear Grown-ups,
In school, your child has been talking about
teamwork with a free program featuring Peppa Pig.
The Peppa Pig series includes themes preschoolers
can relate to, like playdates and making friends,
that can help support their social and emotional
development. Continue the learning, fun, and
discussion at home with the ideas below.

Teamwork Tips

To reinforce teamwork at home, try these tips
with your kids:
• Involve your child in meal preparation. He or she can
find items in the grocery store, set or clear the table,
or help in other ways.
• Create art projects together and have everyone
contribute ideas. For example, draw a large picture;
make a tissue paper flower garden; build sculptures
with paper plates, cups, or newspapers, etc.
• Have a family cleanup time so everyone has a role
and takes part in the effort. Give your child a specific
task, such as putting away toys, placing books on a
shelf, making the bed, or putting clothes in a hamper.
• Play board games or sports as a family to reinforce
taking turns and being part of a team.
About
Peppa Pig loves jumping up and
down in puddles wearing her special
golden boots, even if Suzy does
think they’re just her ordinary yellow
ones. Unfortunately, Mrs. Duck also
takes a liking to Peppa’s boots and
runs away with them!
With the help of her friends, Mummy
Pig, Daddy Pig, George, and Grampy
Rabbit, Peppa must travel across
land, sea, and even into space to
track down the golden boots before
the big Puddle Jump competition.
Tune in to Nick Jr. this March
to find out what happens!
The 15-minute special peppasode
will also be available this March on
DVD, digital download, and a
fun-filled app!
